im looking into it now - i wasn't gona do it but now i think i may just go ahead and doit .

WAS LOOKIN at ebay - they have this kit :

But don't have the oh- sh*t thank god i have this handle . Now if you did that - it would be kinda hard to get to the o crap i locked my keys in the truck button if you put it under the truck . Granted my truck doesn't lay body . I lay frame . i think i thought of a place but come on really where are you really gona find a place that someone won't see you reaching if you did lock your keys in the ride ? ANY way you try to make it look like you AREN'T would be suspious esp if the door pops after you reach under the truck or use your foot . Only thing i can think of is to carry a second remote on you .

Now my other question is . IS It wise to have it go like this : <-----> or up and down? (soloeniod ) MY old truck had it this <-----> But i heard if you have it up and down it gets the best pull . So i.d.k . This time around i want to keep my inner door handles and lock - i n so it actually locks . the guy who did the shaved doors on my extended cab i bought did a real sh*tty Job on the plate and total install.

also is there suposed to be 3 relays or 2 ? just want to make sure i get every thing so i don't have to rip it all apart again and add more .
THANks

Michael.

its better to go up and down thats the way mine are, and i extended the antenna signal wire for the remote and it says it can reach up to 50 feet but with the stock wire length i only got about 20 feet so i lengthened it, and i put the oh shit button by my gas filler to make it look like i was checkin to see if my gas door was shut when people were around lmfao but ya mine has 2 channel, you should only get the 35 pound poppers mine work terrific

i mounted mine <------------> right next to where the arm rest is. it pulls great!

I have mine mounted up and down and i only have a autoloc 35lb soleniods, you don't really need a 50lb solenoids on a mazda door it's just a little over kill. Anyways instead of running the autoloc poppers i when to home depot and got door bell bottons b/c there basically flat and alot harder to find!

i think the emergency cable is more important than just a button rewired outside the door. cuz once the battery goes dead ur are screwed....

My old truck I mounter the solinoids under the seats and ran the wire through a sleev to the latch and I had a secound wire from the solinoid run under the truck so I could pull it to open it also.

Dont let thefts read this post eh, telling them all your secrets, that would be my fear having someone break into my vehicle and me getting fucked over, just because they found my emerg botton somewhere, thats why im debating whether or not to sahve'em...

i shaved mine, im using normal trunk poppers with the cable attached to it an i have had no probs for 7 years, i think the 15lbs, the mazda doors are light i cant see why u need a 50lbs popper, ive actully used door lock actuators and they work great, there so quiet too

oh and i dont have an emergency button never needed one, i guess i trust my doors and alarm that much lol

for a mazda you do not need 50#, 15# will do the job just fine
