I have been wanting to do tub my new bed ever since I did the front and was just going to order the stuff from suicide doors until I got the new mini truckin the other day. I started the process last night and in less than 45 minutes I had all the spot welds drilled out and the old fender wells were gone. I went to the trailer supply store today and for $30.00 I got 2 trailer fenders and the side covers. I still need to get a sheet of steel to make the bridge cover but soo far it's really easy and fairly cheap to do. Here are pics of the progress soo far

Not yet I'm waiting on one of my friends to come over and help me put the bed on my truck. Hopefully tomorrow I can find some help

Well I finaly made some progress on the tubs. With the bed on the truck I was surprised to find that the axle was fairly centered up. I knew it was off before so I moved it over to the drivers side about 1/4 inch when I did the 4 link. It is still over a tad but the tires tuck fine so it's not worth cutting my 4 link tabs and moving it for less that 1/8 inch. Here are some pics of the progress so far. The tires I have on there are 205/55/16's and they tuck with no problem so I should be able to run an 18 with a 215/40/18 tire so I have alittle meat on the rim to ride on. My buddy has some 18's on his civic with 215/35/18 tires and the tire is 8 inches wide where mine on there now is almost 9 because of the sidewall. I'm probably going to pick up some navi's next year since they are cheap and I like the way they look.
