damn that sucks

those are the only decently priced 16's i can find that i like except for FWD rims, and then i would need a 5 lug swap......

then again, i aint got a mazda yet, so i could always get something else....much as i hate to say that....its just to hard to find nice wheels for mazdas

try centerline wheels web page, i got my set of billet 16x7's for $130 ea shipped, or discount tire direct, they have a set of mb motoring gunner 6's that look sorta like the ones you posted the pic of.
i think the smallest wheel in those is 17's though, but they aren't expensive. just do some looking around you'll be able to find some.

what's the backspacing and width for a stock mazda wheel?
mark   +1y
not sure

but need a 1.5inch front space for them to tuck with stock rear

I.E. 17x7 with 4.5 backspace wont tuck, it has 2.5inch front space

17x7 with 5.5backspace will tuck, 1.5inch front space

went outside to measure my dad's parts mazda and the driver side tucks in close to an inch, 7/8inch actually, and the pass side tucks in about half inch

so if you centered the axle, you'd have bout nearly 3/4 of an inch on each side of room

I'M PRETTY SURE THE SPOKE WHEELS CHROME OR WHITE WERE 14 X 5.5'S,
AND THE PAINTED ALLOYS WERE 15 X 5.5'S, NOT SURE ON THE BACKSPACING, BUT THE SPOKE WHEELS ARE ALMOST FLUSH FACED, SO IT WOULDN'T BE A BACKSPACING ON THOSE, IT WOULD BE FOREWARD. THE SPACING ON THE ALLOYS WERE DIFFERENT, BUT NOT BY MUCH THOUGH.

if your lookin to run 16's why not run some stock fullsize wheels????
