My problem is thesteering colum is hitting to back upper control arm bolt... I am thinking about cutting the fire wall and moving it up an in or so... Can't go to far cause of the brake booster. I have tilt steering and was told this would raise it just enough and cure the problem... Anyone else ran into this problem? Or have any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance....

I have an s10 that is laying door. i ran into the same problem. I moved the steering column up about 1 inch and then put some spacers under the mounting holes nearest the steering wheel. My rag joints and destroyed so im prob gunna buy some nice universals.

yeah, notch the control arm and plate it back off. and by the way, u just took all the fun out of your truck by doorin it, i know from experience dude.

agreed- i kind of regret going that far cause it makes it hard to drive and steer and whatnot. but its fun to be the lowest at many shows.

not tryin to be a dick, but you prolly wont have fun at any shows im at then.

haha you think so? At least i have some comp now. what shows are you gunna be at?

Funny story- There is a guy on nissan minis that is building a truck now jsut to beat me. Its funny because he bded is 6 inches and cut the roof 5. Hes all cocky about it saying now competition and stuff. I dont think he knows they measure the doors and not the roof.

LUV2SPRK, I've seen it a bunch before and it looks killer. I no there can't be much head room in there as it is but it'd look hot with the roff chopped alittle!
