Dump Bed??

Okay I'm wanting to do a dump bed but I'm not sure where to start. I want it to slide back about 6 inches then tilt up to about 45 degrees. If anyone has any pictures or ideas about this please let me know.

slide back, THEN go up?? that might be tuff, im doing a tilt bed, but its paino style or w.e. you call it, opens up from pas. side...

slide back? that would be a bunch o trouble, all the ones ive ever sceen had a hinge, and a hydro cylinder.....

Idk about sliding back but my friends got one with a bag liftin it and a stock hood latch in the front to hold it down untill he wants to lift it, It's actually a pretty rad set-up, i'd do it to mine if i wasn't backhlafed it makes it real easy to work and to maintance...

im gunna shave my whole box, then put a side tilt on it....to show off frame work and shit....

that'd be cool...you could make some rails or get some heavyduty rails out of aluminum

have a hydraulic ram push it back then use air to tilt it

Haha I like that idea. Been thinking of doing mine in the future...just something I always liked since way back in da day. Was thinking of doing it with either a hydro cylinder or large air shock tho , but the bag might be a good idea as well....maybe even cheaper
