questions for matt with grant

on your cali combo's,how much modification is needed to fit it up...or is it ready to go?...oh and how much is it

i already shaved my handle in my gate but i had to use so much bondo because of the warping i just dont want to chance it when i get ready to paint

man it was all good till i noticed some rusty little cracks...so i got all pissed and welded that whore up!!!heh,i might be able to fix it but...i was wanting a fully shaved azz anyway...cali combo might be best way(oh and the welder i got is one of those mickey mouse lincolns from lowes with gas)

A blank calli combo is $169.99 USD + shipping, and is ready to weld right on. There might be very minor trimming required, depending on how straight your bed is.... might look straight but might be off just a little. Make sure you tac let cool, tac let cool, tac let cool until its completely tac'd on. Make sure u tac it in a star motion, and cooling by air NOT WATER OR DAMP WRAG! For best results, and preventing warping.

cali combo is going to look sweet man, but no matter what you do when you weld sheet metal your going to have some shrinkage. You might be able to save the tailgate if you stretch it back out with a little hammer/dolly work. You can get a decent set at northern tool, or harbor freight for around $20. Also check out this forum, those guys have alot of experience and great advice trust me lol

I figured you tried to stick weld on the body!

The combo is 169.99 minus 10% for mbs discount. You will not need the tailgate with this combo.

kiss my arse,roach...and i do have a hammer and dolly...and the warpage was just a result of being pissed off and the cold weather didnt help much either...30degrees!lolbut its all good tho...im gonna get me 1 of those cali hickies
