fiberglass is the best!!lol if you dont feel comfortable with it, then cut out the slats, and weld in some patches..

Heres is a pic of mine. I cut out most of the vents and welded metal in their place.

Fiberglass, nor body filler are for shaving anything metal. Welding in new metal is the only option when you want to do it right.

well this was my work in progress...no up 2 date pics..ill try 2 get one tomorrow when i get pics of my porsche 924 seats mounted in my b22...here an older one...nothin special
