sand intel smoth clean with some prep all stuff can get it a napa its like 19 bucks a gallen. dont do it on a windy day if you must do it in a shop or something. that should keep down the dirt

Coulda just used some carb cleaner. I used to clean my entire bed with carb cleaner when it was straight primered.

i have been spraing by can what i have been primering ... was u cause spray ur primer with air compressor and sprayer or u guys go airless.....i am a jouneyman home/residental painter so i have ascees to an arless sprayer...what would be best and most cost effecient?

try the degreaser and make sure you wash all the parts with washer reducer thats what body shops use after preping everything it takes off grease and anything that may got on the part

hey man, not tryin 2 pick on ya or anything but i lookedat the pic of ur truck. did u try 2 knock the dent outa that fender? it looks perdy deep. bondo (according 2 an autobody book) should be over 1/4" thick. yes i no we have all went over 1/4" but that looks 2 be a few inch deep. also it doesnt look 2 be grinded or even sanded, if thats true then the bondo has nothin to stick to so it doesnt. anyways, like i said not tryin 2 make fun or pick on anybody, just tryin 2 help. - fanninator

tried to pop it out as much as possible ..its about 1/2" inch deap gave up...yea i did hit it between coats with my circular sander with 40 grit plenty of surface to hold onto

oh. thats cool, just makin sure, i dont want all that work 2 go 2 waste, i see the grinder in the pic now.
