86 B2200 Ext Cab Longbed?????

Did Mazda ever make an Extended Cab LongBed? I have a 70 beetle and a guy asked me If I wanted to trade a 86 Mazda Extended cab for it. I pointed to my truck and said I liked mine for the longbed and maybe I would swap the bed over and extend the frame. Then he told me that his ext cab was a longbed. I didnt think Mazda made ext cabs longbeds.

what do you guys think? The truck he wants to trae me is an 86 B2200 with a blown motor. He says you can see the connecting rod shake from looking down at the block. Would any 2.2 bolt into this older one.

I think the extended cab is considerd a long bed because it is on the same frame as the regular cab long bed.

no, I mean he said it had a longbed like my standard cab longbed. I knew they were on the same frame.

well, 1 this is for sure he doesent know much about mazdas, because theres no such hting as a 86 B2200 in 86 they only had the B2000s and the 22 never came out untill 88

ok thanks, I am going to have to look over this truck real well before I make a trade then.
