Macco paint jobs

i just wanna know if nebody on here has gotten a paint job at macco on their truck and if so how much was it. bc even though they say they paint cars for 200 bucks u'll end up paying 400 in the end or should i just go with spray primer?

but all i want is a paint job to last me maybe 4 or 5 years till im out of college or watever and im really tired or my faded ass paint

if you want it to last 4 or 5 years.. don't go to macco. Not being rude.. but truthfully... don't go there.

YA maaco is just a paint it before you sell it type paint job. I'd say just prep it good yourself and prime it.

hey the maaco thing should last about a year maybe even 2 but you better prime it and do everything yourself because they willnot take stickers off or anything they will just paint the car/truck and thats it your lucky when they tape up all the windows and shit!

Macco is worthless. Dont waste your time. Just put some good epoxy/primer sealer on in a color of your choice.

macco's paint is crap cuase the prep work is crap like lukeinva said thay dont do crap to it all thay do is pull it in spray it and pull it out if the prep work is carp then the paint will be crap if it were me and you did not have a way to spray it your self then do the prep work fix all the dents sand use filler were needed take stuff off you dont wont painted type the stuff that cant be removed (its best to trailer it there so you can have it typed the way you wont it) let them spray it take it home and put everything back on if your paint is in good shape just faded then take all the clear off and use the stock color as the starting point dont change the color stick with the stock color so your jams will match and i dont care what anyone says rattle can primer is crap its not ment for cars on a permont stuff like i said a great paint job starts with great prep work

I used to work at maaco i va and they do give crap jobs for that price...Pont said exactly what do to...to the point...I am a painter myself and he nailed it on the head...they do have better jobs for better prices, you just have to talk to em...now I on the other hand am in NC and run a body and paint shop. So if anyone needs anything hit me up

maaco sucks! plain and simple. there paint jobs last up to 4-6months. they just paint over your factory color! hahaha maybe not exactly but there work is not that great. where are you located? my personal painter does great work.

im in spartanburg south carolina its in the upstate but i got to get either a replacement panel for my bed or find the best bodyman in the world to pull it out and i need a new windshield and macco is deffinetly out of the question now but i really dont want my truck just primer even though it looks good its just not what i want
