Outrageous Bed Prices

Has anybody priced a complete 4x4 bed from Mazda?
EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!

I'm sorry, but that's just rediculous. I should be able to get the entire truck -brand new - for that kind of cash. The floor alone is over $1000. WTF?

Sooo...I'm looking for a USED 4x4 bed, but there aren't any in the junkyards for at least a couple states. Is there a method of freighting these things that is somewhat reasonable? Or am I doomed to a life of rust repair?

HOLY FLiCK that is crazy - we may have to look into a container full of 4X4 parts shipped over from japan. Could get alot of boxes and fenders for 8000.

Yeah, what is it to ship a container? About $2000? And you know the Japanese are fanatics about their B's. No really, every one I see is mint.

yeah man, when i bought my beater i had to look for a new bed. holy shiznuts, high dollar. i finally found a parts truck for about 400 bucks. even just a bed side is big bucks!

i got my 4x4 bed, pass. door, and pass. 4x4 fender for $600 at a j/y here in bama...but yeah anything that you have to buy from mazda for our trucks is high $$, the chrome trim for the windshield is @$300, and just one of the little black hoses that goes to the air cleaner for the egr sys is $75, at least that is what i paid back in the day for one...

that is crazy retarded. my truck was pretty beat up when i got her but she was a lot better off than my parts truck. my parts truck is really just good for body parts and a few other things but not much. on another topic i mentioned that i paid like 250 for a fuel sending unit from the dealer. someone else said that autozone sells it for like 55 bucks. those jerks told me that i had to go to the dealer! dealer = big pennies!!!

too bad your so far from pa, there is a real good shape i would even venture to say very near perfect 4x4 bed on an x cab up here in the junk yard, already rhino lined too

anything by mazda is expensive

i got a 4x4 bed and fenders, and the bumper caps to got with it, u can take it for 400$ im not to far from detriot and it will be worth it to drive up here
