Yeah, I had that kit on a S10. Reminds me of a Ron White joke when he's buying expensive sunglasses...
"Then I asked him very politely, 'how do you sleep at night you f*cking prick?"
First, I don't believe it includes any chassis reinforcement. Your truck will have all the structural rigidity of Elton John's wrist. I once hit a bump and nearly lost my top because the chassis twisted so much.
Second, it makes no attempt to seal the hard top to the roof. It rains, you will get wet. (wet carpet stinks, btw).
Third, it's not safe (if *I* complain about safety it has to be baaaaad). If you get in a collision, there's only 4 questionable latches that are preventing the top from flying off the truck and taking your head with it. Decapitation by convertable roof is not the way I want to go. Ditto if you roll it. Those latches aren't going to pull your head out of your neck when you're balancing 3000 lbs of upside down Mazda on your spine.
Only consider this kit if you plan on installing a beefy roll bar IN THE CAB and you plan on NEVER driving in the rain. Even thus, you'd be better off to build your own kit out of metal (they use cheap plastic).
