chop top

I love the look of old school hotrods with the top real low, thats what i want to do to my mazda, just not THAT low, lol.
has anyone on here done a chop top on their dawgs , or have any pictures?

how far do most people cut them with out ditching the stock glass?

i am going to get mine chopped 3 or 4 inches, but i have to find someone to cut the glass first.

I think it was like this:
for a 3inch chop you would do a 1" pie cut at the bottom pillars and then you can lay the window back.... That would give you the chop with keeping the stock glass.... I am not to big on laying them back, but if you are maybe this can help. btw: if i am wrong on this please correct me... lol

i'm in the middle of a 2" chop right now, wont be workin on it again till next weekend thou , right now the tops cut off and the pie cuts done

could you do me a favor, and kind of step by step it, that would be awsome if you could do that.

I just finished up a 3" on my buddys but we 1/4ed it to keep the stock pillar angles instead of laying the a pillars back...

^^ thats basicly what i want to do, but im worried about everything not lining up right.
