i have one of those generic plate lights, all chrome for the rear. now my question is.. theres only one wire. im guessing that its the power one an the ground is somehow connected when i screw it in correct?

yes the frame it self is the ground, but they seem to have problems with them blowing the fuse, theres a quick fix i did a while back, let me know if u run in to problems

...what if you have a fiberglass roll pan? it wouldnt ground then...eh?

i wonder how that works tho.. cus alot of metal plate boxes adn shit still have those plastic push-in inserts that they screw into.. so, with that the plate would in no way be connected to ground. i think you have to run your own wire or something.
