Other than the cab floor and bed floor what else needs cut for it to drop? I'm going to body drop my 89 Mazda.

core support. usually just drop the ears down and that is pretty much it for the drop.

relocation will have to depend on your tire/wheel combo

honestly schreff heres my opinion .


you are about or a little bigger then me - height / weight wise . If you b/d the mazda you aren't gona have any type of leg room . Its a regular cab- i could see it if it was a extended cab - You will grow to wish ytou didn't b/d it if you take it on long drives to car shows . Unless you want to trailer queen the truck . whiich don't suit the truck at all . Just my 2 cents.

The core support is what your radiator, headlights, and grill all are mounted to. There are mounts on both frame rails just below the core support. Usually these are cut off and moved down the amount you are body dropping the truck and rewelded back in place. You may have to add a extra gusset depending on how far down it is moved.
