Ok... I have an oportunity to get a brand new set of 20" X 8.5" wheels. They have a +18 offset. Questions is will these tuck or is the offset to little? I know I have serious frame work and firewall work but I am just wondering about the offset. Oh yeah I am using a set of Laim 2" drop spindles on an 88 B-2something. Please help!!!

not sure if they will tuck or not, but the 18mm offset is = 0.71" so the centerline of the wheel on 8.5" = 4.25" then add the 0.71" = 4.96" from the mounting surface should be the front face of the wheel.......i think i saw somewhere that the offset / backspacing needs to be less than 4" to tuck on an 18", so with a 20" wheel i would assume that it would need to be the same or less than 4"......hope this helps you out & if i'm off key some one else can chime in & let you know more specifics

I think I found my answer here

Russ-d is pretty damn awsome when it comes to this. For the price I got offered these wheels I might just narrow the frame and mod the arms and irs the rear. It could help set me apart from the others.

tru, tru, but that is a whole lotta work just to tuck & lay 20's, but the end result would deffinately be sweet!
