Whats up guys! Decided to put my chrome on and paint the valance and skirts black. I'm somewhat mad because whoever worked on the bumper last really screwed it up... Still looks pretty good for what work I put into it. Just thought I might post up to get some feedback!

EDIT: Sorry about the lighting. Just realized you cann't see much... Aye...

looks good man what are you mad about?

Well I'm not necessarily mad about the final outcome. As always, I could have done something and better... But you gotta make do with what you have...

Reason why I'm mad, is because the people who had it before me, only had a minimum just to keep everything together. And without enough bolts, the valance is'nt really bolted to the chrome bumper. But its not noticable unless you really look at it... And besides the fact, the plastic is so distorted now because of who knows what! Maybe heat, but IMO a wreck... Noticed that the right side of the bumper sits closer towards the engine than the left. Which means the mounts that are on the frame rail have been hit.

oh, ok i kind of see what you aqre talking about in the first pic now. have you tried to bend the mounts back? truck is looking good though bro.

Looks sweet man. I love chrome...my front end is actually gonna look the same as yours...well,depends which grille I get...I kinda like the billet ones...

How hard was the bumper to install? I started to get into taking mine off one day to install the chrome and it was a pain in the ass...the Haynes manual wasn't very helpful and I didn't have much room to work with.

you can take some washers & use them as a spacer inbetween the bumper bracket & the frame, take the bolt off of the top of the bracket & loosen the one that goes in from the front, place the washers inbetween the frame & bracket where the top bolt goes in, use as many washers as necessary to make the bumper sit level, usually just one or two....

other than that lookin good hex!
