Third Brake Lite/Cargo lite

Has anyone installed a third brake lite/cargo lite on their Bseries and if so, what did u use?Thanks. BJ

i thought about doing that to mine but using a LED bar and just doing a nice clean splice into the brake lights.

That would work,but I am also interested in the cargo lite which is usually made into the truck 3rd brake lite housing.An led would not serve for that i dont believe as it would need to be wired into the dome lite circuit and everytime u stepped on the brakes ur dome lite would come on.Lol. BJ

i was looking through sport truck (dec issue) and they had a add for LEd third brake light and and under the tailgate LEDs. i'll get the website up for you tomarrow.

I can make a custom led board with leds in white for the cargo lite and red for brake......

Sounds like a plan to me since I cant seem to locate one anywhere else.Couple of questions: 1.I plan to mount it on the small space above the rear window where the top of the cab rolls over.Can u make one to fit that space?2.Sealable from the weather?3.Cost to make and ship to 37421?Thanks. Well I can do one of two things...mdoify a factory third off of something else that will fit that space and use the proper LED light boards to produce a good amount of light....or 2 make a custom flush mount lense, with reflector, then build a reverse mount bucket and baord that will fit up behind the headliner....

I got the picture.I am trying to keep the truck unmolested as much as possible so it sounds like the modified factory third of another truck would work best as I wont have to butcher the cab to get a flush mount in.I am cool with that if u want to tackle the job.I would prefer a compact third so it will not look out of place on the relatively small cab of my 2200 .I need a rough estimate of price.BJ

let me do a bit of searching for ya...I wanna find one that comliments the bodyline and size of the dawg...is it ext cab or reg cab.
