how do i get the door handle rod off. Its the one that goes to the outside handle and ive got it off the handle just need to know how to get it off by the latch
no the part that connects near the latch has something weird. Anyone know what im talking about???? I think the people that have shaved their doors should know. This is the last thing i need to do and im done shaving the doors

whats the problem? it should just pull out from what i remember. there are little plastic ends on the rods that need to be twisted so that the end hook can pop out. maybe thats it?
on mine for the exterior handle rod where it conects near the latch there is metal piece that looks like a bolt kind of with a smooth flat head. I will take a pic of it 2morrow if no one understands
yeah mine just had plastic clips attached to the rod ends. pop off the clips and the rod comes off. def. post up some pics so we can get a better idea of what is going on.
