ranger headlight conversion ??

I will be doing this very soon and was hoping there was a tech write up to doing this that described were to cut and what needed to be drill and re wired anyone who has done this please feel free to give me the info you have.

depending on what generation you put in ive heard from some people whove done it that all you have to cut out is the grille where it curves, if you know what i mean, but dont qoute me im not 100% sure i could be wrong

Keep in mind those pics are before I did the finish work and glassed them over to look like stock headlights!

As far as the cutting goes just follow the shape of the headlights with a dremel and then finish em up with a little fiberglass!

Then for wiring all you need to do is go to your local auto parts store and grab the pigtail that matches the ranger headlight, I think it is a 9005? Anyways, then you just tap it into your existing harness with some scotch-locks(quick connects)

Its failry simple!

I think you also have to cut out the Rad support a little. Make the Hole for the back of the light a little bigger then make some holes for the mounting hardware

so i take it that a ranger headlight gets slightly bigger as it works towards the inside of the grill opening?
