body drop questions

i want to do a bd. what exactly is stock floor bd mean? what am i geting myself into? what do i need to know and were can i find it? any walk throughs or tech right ups? any thing that would be helpful thanks.

a stock floor body drop is building a new frame in which the body fits over leaving a stock floor. a traditional body drop is cutting the body around the frame in turn dropping the body down and welding patch pannels to fill the gaps.

so what am i looking at with traditional and how much drop can i get

as much as you want.. thats the glory of a body drop. however anything that hangs below the frame can and might get drug off. Most body drop it to the pinch or full rocker and shave their pinch.

any pics of single cab short bed during and after would be cool i have spare cab i want to do this to so is that gona be a problem like frame mount stuff or what
