I USED TO OWN/OPERATE A DETAIL SHOP,I HAVE USED A CLAYBAR BEFORE AND THEY WORK BUT NOT ALL THE TIME. YOU CAN PURCHASE ONE FROM A DETAIL SUPPLY WAREHOUSE . ALSO I HAVE USED RUBBING COMPOUND WITH A STEEL WOOL PAD THAT HAD BETTER RESULTS . HAVE ALSO USED A BUFFING PAD WITH SOME WINDOW GLAZE AND IT WORKED , JUST DON'T GET THE THICK STEEL WOOL CAUSE YOU COULD SCRATCH IT UP. GET THE #00 KIND. THE PACKAGE SHOULD HAVE A NUMBER ON IT, I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU FUCK YOUR WINDOWS UP LOL, JUST LETTING YOU KNOW WHAT I HAVE USED . GOOD LUCK BRO, IF YOU LIVED NEAR ME I WOULD GET IT OFF FOR YOU . PEACE

Try some BonAMi powder and a wet sponge.
wet the sponge good, wet the glass, sprinkle the powder on ur sponge and scour the windshield or glass real good.Rinse the glass and try Rain-x on the side glasses only-not on the windshield as it will smear when u turn wipers on.Follow instructions on the Rain-x.BJ Disclaimer-worked on my waterspotted truck-might not work on yours-but BonAmi will not scratch unless u use it with steel wool.BJ

CERIUM OXIDE POWDER...it is designed for polishing glass and that is what the glass shops use....it is the only right way to do it.,

just for future reference, glass cleaner and newspaper work great when cleaning windows. i don't know what it is about the newspaper but it works great.
