Had one on my mazda 2200 sounded like money poo....

I would do a regular borla...or maybe a literbike exhaust.

if your bed is notched already and all and you think you can figure out how to route it where it wont be in the way of any link bars or anything go all the way back, mine is dumped before the axle though, as is most bagged trucks.

I had mine dumped before the axle....but aircare would not do my truck....Now I have it come out in front of the wheel....But if there is room up and over is nice too.

air care just said no?? couldn't they just put it on their car hoist and do it or did they say it cant be there and that it has to exit outside the body???

i had a fart can on my cavalier, it sounded ok, they are pretty loud, tinny and whispy.

i've found that most straight through style mufflers have a similar sound..

if you don't increase the diameter of your exhaust tubing, it will be even higher pitched......

if you run a standard muff like a flowmaster, magnaflow, dynomax and so on...it will be much quiter if you have the muffler before the axle with a tube up over the axle venting out back, than if you run it to just the muffler with no tail pipe........which is what i like to do with mufflers, hella deep and raspy.

i'd run it to the axel and leave it, but we don't have aircare over here so im not sure if thats allowed

hope this helps a bit
