urethane / heat gun

i'm not the sharpest tack in the box on body work & have a quick question, can you use a heat gun to mould urethane? if not i have thought about one of these plastic welding kits that eastwood co. sells
the reason i ask is, i have a stillen bumper cover/spoiler that i want to mould the sides to be shaped like my 4wd end caps. for reference there are a couple pic in this thread

Urethane for the most part is a memory plastic, so you might have problems with it reshaping on hot days....
