What is the difference between a b2200 hood and a b2600 hood .. ive noticed alot of people with the 22's are changin to 26 hoods??????

there is no difference between a b2200 and a b2600 hood. The difference is the hoods on the fuel injected models(b2200i and b2600i). They have a bubble. That's it. The bubble is aesthetic and serves no purpose.

b2600i hood accutually has a pupose....
i am runnin one on my 22 cuz i am body dropped and it alows me to clear the motor wit the hood closed....if i didnt have this i would have to cut out the inner webbing structure on the stock hood.

Fuel injection plenum will not clear the flat 2200 carbed hood-that is why the "bubble".BJ

Im pretty sure mr. mazda put the bubble there, so when we body drop our rides, we have a hood that will clear

i dunno about all that... we have a 2200 that used to be FI that didn't have the bubble hood.
