Roll Pan Question...

I noticed on GK it says that the brackets are not included with the rollpan....do you only need brackets for bolt-in or also for the weld-in? Does anyone know if they come with a tag light?

you would only need brackets for a bolt-in application, weld-in doesn't need any brackets.

as for the tag light, i'm pretty sure if you get a plate box in the rollpan there will not be a light, but i'm sure they could do one for you, but it would cost extra. i would just give em a call and ask.

Just get DEI stainless lighted bolts...nice and clean.

are the dei bulbs legal?

They only put light on the tag so they should be legal. Legal is having the tag lit and not blinding followers.

pffft,who needs a tag light? I don't have one and have a tinted licence plate cover,front and back,lol...no hassle from the cops even when I'm pulled over.

I have a weld in GK pan and it didn't require brackets,just a lot of cutting into the bed corners and lots of trimming to make it fit perfectly. They are such a good fit.

Well up here my dad got a ticket for one tag light being out so i guess there anal here.

all depends on the laws where you live I guess. I've rarely had functional licence plate lights on most of my vehicles.

Just remember who cut all that out for you and welded it all up and we still got work to do to finish it.hahahaha
