I know there are a few threads about the front conversion and maybe some for the rear end. I'm new to the site and having a bit of a problem finding out a few things about both.
To start off I have a 93 2600i 2wd. I want to do the five lug rear end but needed to know what rear end i can use, i have a friend that has a 1999 tacoma rear end he'd sell me, will this work? If not what rear end do i need(years)?
For the front conversions, what front ends work on the truck, Ive heard the 4runner if so what years work with the bracket kit? Also what other yota front end works besides this?
I have seen on ebay a seller that sells the 4runner bumper, valance, and bumper caps for a 90-91. is this the year i need? hope i was clear in writing this and any and all info would be great, i had a 2001 bagged s10 before this but the mazda is all new to me in the customizing, with the adding front clips and changing bolt patterns. tahnks in advance and sorry to be such a newb.

use the search option at the top of the page..it helps find old theads just type in key words it will narrow your search

the nolimit 5 lug conversion looks to be the way to go on that, i guess really all i need to know is what year bumpers fit this truck, with the aftermarket brackets used to mount them. what i have found is a 90-91 4runner bumper, valance, and end caps. will these mount to the truck using the aftermarket brackets?

i've got a 69 toyota rearend that i'll be using when the time is right. its like an inch or 1 1/2" narrower than mazda too.

i've got a yota front spindle setup. everything from the ball joints out to the calipers. this will give the ford bolt pattern(5x4.5) if interested i'll email pictures to ya.

the way i'll probably do it is have the front hub filled in and redrilled for the 5 lug, but for the rear can i use the 99 tacoma rear? Anyone using one from that year? If not what is the usual years that people use? is it the 90 model pickups? the reason i ask about the 99 tacoma is i have a buddy that has a junkyard and he has one there, but i dont know what the length for it and compared to what the usual rear swap is

i think i heard that the newer ones like that 99 are wider... so you could use it but you'd have to have it narrowed... that's not too cheap.

cool, thats all i needed to know. I'll start looking for the older rear ends.

you'll need 80-95 2WD toyota pickup balljoints, spindles, hubs, rotor, pads, and caliper, as well as flexhose, to give you the 5.114.3 (5x4.5) and Either or Older Yota rearend or a Older Ford rearend, thats 5x114.5 (5x4.5) as well...its really your choice, ford rearends are 51" from backing plate to backing plate, which is about 1-1/2"s shorting then a stock mazda rearend i do believe, correct me if im wrong.

Im not sure the length overall of an older Yota rearend, im sure its just as short as a mazda rearend, if not an 1" to 1-1/2" shorter. like a Ford 7.5 or 8.8 Rearend.
