I have a 87 cab plus. I know the top rain gutters just pop off but I cant get the side and bottom off. Its attached to some plastic pieces that suround the side glass. Also, I need to know what kind of adhesive would be good to put them back on after I paint the truck and the gutters themselves. Thanks for any help, Ian

I replaced mine and when I tried to get the old ones off they shattered like glass. So I put new ones on.37 bucks apiece from Mazda.New ones already have sealer in them.Use something like Permatex gasket sealer if u reuse ur old ones.BJ

you mean these

and these

If so then the frist ones are held in with 4 10mm nuts you can get to them form inside the cab. You will need a deep well socket. The door trim (2nd pic) is held on by some plastic clips.

They can be pulled if you take the door apart form the inside and take your time . when I done mine I only broke 1 and they were on a 86 truck. But like hocbj23 said you can get new ones

Thanks Pont. Did you take yours off to paint them black?

Nope those came off my old truck before I scraped it. Here is a pic of it when I got it

I saved them so when I paint my 92 I can use the chrome ones instead of black

Yep bad part was there was really nothing wrong with it. Just need to be put back together. I tried to sell it but no one wonted it. So then I tried to sell some of the parts off it but no bits there ether. Oh well If I don't use the full length door panels and Tilt steering Ill chunk them to.

I will buy the tilt if u ever want to sell it.BJ
