installing rollpan question

i got my rollpan from matt at grantkustoms and it has a lip on top where the hinges are. do i cut a slot in the stock rollpan for this lip to slide into or what? i finally got my bed corner fixed so now i am going to install the rollpan but need to know what to do. thanks guys.

what you need to do is cut out the whole old roll pan first and then put the new one in place. You need to follow along the top edge and the along each side were it welds up along the side. I wish I had pics to show you but all I have is the finished piece.

well, i got it tacked on. i am almost out of gas so i need to get my bottle refilled to finish it.looks a hell of a lot better though. i will post some pics when i get done.
