What's the proper way to prep a bed that has been skinned befor spraying in a bedliner?

BTW, the metal is all still bare..

What kind of bed liner are you using? Some bedliners require that the paint be scuffed to knock off the shine, but since it's still bare steel you may still have to make sure it's scuffed and clean. When I done mine I scuffed it all(bare steel and painted parts), then wiped it down with acetone. The stuff I used you spray a adhesion promoter then you have a hour or so to get the actual bedliner on or you have to clean out the promoter end start all over again.

still wipe it down with laquer thinner.... i worked at a shop who sprayed and you always wipe it down with it to get any oils and crap off it
