i have a regular cab b2200 that im going to be bodydroping it this weekend, i was looking and i think i have everything pretty much figured out except the on the sides where the seatbelt goes, when u cut the floor it is going to be like maybe at half of the box that holds the seatbelt inside of it, do yall take it out and move it up? what do yall do, thanx

Yeah just move it up. It won't hurt anything.

I've seen one guy cut out around it and then put it back in and its pretty much hidden by the bodydrop, but then its a bitch to make carpet look good there. The area in front and behind the door I make completely flat and just weld directly to the side of the cab with some 14 gauge or so.

Thanks.

Anyways I was thinking, I don't remember what the Mazda belt piece looks like, but this is how I would mount it. Take some 12 or 14 gauge to weld in that area in the cab corner. Cut it to the right size, and then map out the bolt pattern for the seatbelt thing, and weld some nuts to the bottom of it. Then weld it in, and put a triangle gusset on the bottom of it. Make it overkill, because that thing might have to save your life. The piece in my truck, is 10 gauge with a 1/2" grade 8 bolt. I know that shit will hold me in my truck if it has to.
