paint.....

hey im almost done bagging my truck and need to move onto paint. Im wondering around how much am i looking to pay for a two tone paint job. either a high gloss finish or metalic. and if any one in british columbia, lowermainland can suggest a place to take it to get painted, that would be great.

depends on the colours and what kind of two tone seperation you want. I can paint it, I am in the lower mainland, and have a local booth I can rent when I want.

basically i want a red on the bottom and black on the top with a white stripe seperating them. just something plain nothing with graphics or any thing. does this narrow it down any to an estimate????

In the area of a couple grand, depends on the paint colourexactly, maybe 3000 depending on the exact ones chosen.

$120 gets you rattle cans like mine,haha.

look bring it down th tx and me and my boy can do it for like 450, dependoing on the paint colors. itll definatley not be more than 600 bux

what would the cost be to do it your self. approx. how much in supplies?

you also have to remember if there is any body work to be involved. most of the time the body work is what cost you the most money.

I twill cost over 1000 in supplies to do it right, base clear with PPG paint... 450 bucks for a paint job??? that wouldn't cover the labour to block the truck out, never mind sealing the old paint, and then it would get 3 - 5 coats of colour and 3 - 6 of clear, wetsanded between coats.

Keeping in mind my cost includes the door jambs, in the bed, the bottom side of the hood... and is warrantied.
