tailgate...

i cant decide if i want to weld the tailgate shut or have it open to one side. i wanted to see what other people think about this...

Side swing tailgate is not to difficult to do. The stock hinges can be used, just relocated. You should (will) have to do some reinforcement to the end of the tailgate and inside the taillight housing.

Look in the new minitrucking mag and there is a swb gray hardbody that the tailgate opens all wickied stright up is a moid that I never seen now put that on a mazda and show some pics.

i decided to go with shaving it all since i like the whole smooth look of it.

good decision i had a side swing gate on my 86 nissan king cab and it looked cool but gate was heavy and it started to sag after a few years
