how do you remove a tail gate handle?

that may seem like a really simple/stupid question. but.. i was going to grab a handle off a truck at the wrecker and it seemed as though it was riveted in... 90% of the screws on the inside panel are either rusted or stripped ... any help would be great.. thanks

well.. that's kind of what I was thinking of doing. once I'm in there.. does it just attach like the door handles ?? 2 10mm nuts?

yea, just the 2, took mine off in like a couple seconds, had a tab broken on mine though.
