honestly if you dont feel safe about it then i would move it. usually if you think it can happen then there is a good chance it can so i would change it now or repair alot of shit later.

i know its too close but i just want an opinion of what the closes it should be since this is my first bagged truck and it will be up and on the road in about 2 weeks

Any pics? The end of my muffler is about four inches away from my bag. ( the tip of the muffler) Never had it heat the bag up or nothing. It is more toward the bottom of the bag by the bracket though.

i don't have any pics at the moment. my tip is off set to the opposite of the bag. its the edge of the muffler that is close to the bag like and inch and a half below it. its not right beside the bag if that makes sense.

kinda like this if you were looking from the rear of the truck:

its like parralell to my bag but lower than the bag it doesn't run right under the bag

my bags are on the bars and my mufflers dumped infront of the axle likes yours but i can only more it soo far over untill it hits the drive shaft so i kinda have to space it out between the bag and the drive shaft. o and i have a flowmaster 40 so its wide.
