after seeing someone post a link to clear lenses on ebay.. it poses a question for me..

can the lenses be removed from the housing? if so, how?

mine need cleaned inside (swirling water around inside didn't help)

thanks

are there plastic tabs or something that i'll need to be careful not to break?

Never thought about putting them in the dishwasher. Hmm...

you can pull apair fof lights apart down to the bare housing in like 2 minutes.

There's 4 little screws on the back side of the housing. Take them out and they release the trim and the lens will pretty much fall out.

everyones making it sound so easy when sometimes its not. take the screws you see out, unclip the wire or take the bulbs out, then theres sometimes 5 (one on the plug) little screws, take them off but if they are rusty sometimes they strip, if they strip your lense is not coming off period, unless you want to break it, in which case its easier to just buy new tail lights if the water is bugging you. i know because i had a couple of sets of tail lights i through out for the reason the lense ended up breaking while i was trying......

in the scenario the lense wont or cant be taken off, i had this problem in a honda accord of mine with the water build up and also in my friends integra, we drilled very small holes one on top the lense and one on bottom, this way the water can drain, and wont build up, the hole on top is used for the breather, kinda like shotgunning a beer lol. anyway hope we helped

I haven't gotten to them yet. I'm going to pull them off before I go to work this morning if I have time. Being that I haven't been driving the truck in this shit weather it's parked and still has yet to have salt touch it.. LOL .. so I haven't been in a big rush to stand around in the frosty cold
