ranger tonneau

anyone know if a ford ranger tonneau will fit my mazda b2200. i phoned locally and they said they don't carry them for that old of a truck and that i would have to go to the states to get one made. im really in need of a hard tonneau since i start taking my bagged truck to skewl and some ppl are dicks and will just mess around with the tank and valves and stuff.

anyone even have the slightest clue??

I'm going with no. I do not think the stock mazda bed and the stock ranger bed are the same. The Ranger and the B3000 beds (94 and up) are, but not the B2200.

damn.... i thought of a way to make one though i think:

build a frame to the box and take some plywood covered in vinal through ontop and conect it to the frame with hood pins

I did that exact thing. I can give you pointers if you need. I tried it several ways.

id say build a custom one or have one built thats the only way to go unless you want to travel or pay enough for shipping

i found a toyota tonneau for $250 which has the same diamentions as my box just have to see how it fits. but it doesn't have any hinges so im just wondering wut hinges will run me.

Piano hindges are cheap at home depot and lowes. If its a hard fiberglass cover, you can still use the heavy hinges they sell there, just get the right size. You should be able to do the hindges for under $20.
