ya just like toddluck said, my other bulbs now turned greenish. and as for the light output, it was the shitty bulbs. one burned out and i got some nice ones and now the light output is really good. haha my bulbs cost more than the lights

I have some Roadmax H4 3850k bulbs that came with mine and they are bright as hell and are so bright and aimed well I never ever need to use my high beams.

has anyone done a hid tech yet?

the best bulbs ive found and cheap are sylvania silver stars. $40 or so and they burn @ 4000k or 4100k dont remember. but best damn lights all around i think.

silverstars are nice bulbs, GE nighthawk sports are also good stuff.

For just standard sealed beam replacements or H4s?

I had a set of sealed beam Silverstars and they are nothing compared to my 3850k H4s.

I have Silverstar H7s in my Cadillac and you can't see crap at night.

i got a pair of 10000K H4's off ebay. i know there not really 10000K but they are super bright and i dont even need to ever use my highbeams. and they were only $11

you can get em in h4 or sealed. i have sealed and they are great. i find it interesting that the sealed sylvania's were not as good as your h4's considering that the sylvania's (as do all of their bulbs) burn at a higher temp.

Why don't just hook up a hid kit to those. That would be bright

ya it would be bright but it cost a lot
