difference between 6' and cab plus 6' bed?

What is the difference and will a tonneau cover made for a cab plus bed fit the regular 6 ft. bed?

i think there is a one inch difference not sure which way it is though. its been covered a few times on here just have to look. or wait for toddluck to get on and he always post the measurements

at least part of the answer to your q can be seen in the difference in your & justins sig pics, the front of the bed is shorter from the headboard to the wheel well opening, and longer from the back of the wheel opening to the roll pan, plus the mounts under the bed are different.....now for the second part, I'm not exactly sure, but I'd say that the boxes inside dimensions are the same, so it is a possibility that a tonneau from a cab plus would fit a reg cab short box.....hope that helps.

i dont think the inside dimensions are the same. its been covered here somewhere just dont remember where.

i had a tonno cover on my toyota and i put it on my ext cab mazda and it stuck an inch over the end. the same cover fits perfect on my regular cab.

Yup - the cap that came on my cab plus hun gover the end - but fit perfectly on my reg cab..

crap ill go look back at some posts i just posted mesurments on a shell

i think the xcab bed is 74 and the reg bed is 76

reg. bed is 76 because i just measured it for the tonneau im making like 10 times so its fors sure 76 but i have no clue about the xcab

i just went out an mesured my cabplus its 74 so my previous post was correct
