Stepside swap? What bed?

Any stepsides out there that would be a fairly simple addition that would match the lines of the truck?

Quite possible. All I have seen on the subject is that Courier was a California Edition which was sold sans bed and meant to have a Chevy stepside bed adapted to it. Just not sure of the year or the difficulty of mounting it to my first gen.

I have done some research on that bed myself. What you are seeing was a califrnia edition bed. It was made by a company out of oregon or washington for the Chevy luv, Datsun truck, and Ford courier. To find one may be extremely hard to do but talk to some of the guys on this forum and they may be able to enlighten you even more:



If you cant find one that way youd just have to get a full size and cut in half and reweld it. That is what I plan on doing for my 86. Since my dad has an extra bed for his F100.
