door poppers

my friend is comin up to help me shave my B2200. it'll be awhile since its freezin balls here!

i was just wondering, when we shave the door handles, where would be the best place to put the poppers? thanks y'all.

mine are in the back corner of the door at the bottom only place i could find that wouldnt interfere with the window

are you talking about the poppers or the siloniods? the best place i found to put the poppers is at the bottom rear of your door, in the area by your dome light button. for the siliniod it depends what size siliniod you have because my autoloc ones fit directly in front of the latch(but just barely)

ive got spals on mine and theywouldnt fit nowhere except at the bottom of the door without interferring with the window

whats the difference between poppers and silenoids? one electric and one not?

poppers are the little spring loaded things that push the door open when the siliniod pulls the latch.

thanks for clearin that up. i'm thinkin bout suicide doors too. always wanted to do the rears on my 94 caprice before i wrecked it. anyone use a kit? i'm thinkin more along the lines of switch all the hardware. stirkers up front, hinges out back. anyone done it that way?
