depends on where the roll pan came from and where the tail skin is coming from.... your best bet is to get a cali combo.... tailgate skin and roll pan already together and put that on the truck.... link>> 86-93 B-series Grant Kustoms

thats bout the only way to get a clean look and keep all the body lines lined up....

now wat kind of gap would be in between
the rollpan and tail gate skin

Probably the same kind of gap that is between the pan and tail gate already or a little smaller.

it might b worth your time to cut off the old pan and get a new 'cali combo'
have you taken the paint off the welded areas of the pan? there could b rust or just hacked up crap-ass metalwork...

A cali combo would be the easiest way to do it, but what fun is that? You can always add & remove sheet metal to make you skin fit. Take off your gate and dry fit your skin. See what the gap looks like. If needed add a filler strip on the bottom if your skin. Make the filler a lil bigger then needed, its always easier to remove then to add. I wouldn't advise doing this unless you are comfortable with welding sheet metal & doing body work. It is very easy to warp body panels when welding & grinding.
