now that i'm working at my dad's shop, i will be able to get my truck body very good. anyways, a lot of civics come in and have us take off teh side mouldings and shave teh holes/indents on them. and i noticed the body "indent"(idk what its called yet) that runs along the side of the mazda trucks. has anyone ever shaved that? and if they did, did it look good? cuz i'm thinking about doing it in a couple months if i decide to repaint the truck. but i'm not sure if it will look good. what do you guys think?

Do you mean the top body line or the lower one? If you are taliking about the lower one heres a pic of a truck with it shaved just on the rear. To me it looks to plain so imagine the whole side of the truck. And looks like it would be hard to make a transition under the taillight. Just my opinion.

I like the body lines on the Mazda. I say leave them but thats just my .02!

You might be able to get by on the top body line, but I'm with dragginmazda86. I think the tailgate on that blue truck looks too slab sided. Just my .02

ya i think that the tail gate looks kinda plain but also the rear is almost flat. the side hav e a curve. but idk, i might just get a junk door and do it on that first and see. or photoshop

if you want slab sides, buy a Scion xB

the whole body has a curve to it and the sides arent completely flat. If anything, you might just end up making it look more bulbous and goofy.

ive actually thought about it but didnt think i would like the look at all. it would be different though.
