we were stripping a caddy and before it got scraped i grabbed the mirrors cuz i liked the look of them to put on my truck. Im not done installing them but theres 2 pics on my photobucket.



let me know what everyone thinks and if its been done before

thanks for the comments and posting the pics. the angle on the door is closer to 90 degrees and the angle on the caddy was closer to 45 degrees so i need to make a wedge out of some thing and put in from the bottom thats why i got the stick holding it.

weren't those originally electric?are you gonna try to mae them electric?also,you could probably get a machine shop to make you some kind of spacer for them!!

not electric thats what i thought untill i tryed to snip the cables. they were just cables that ran to a little stick thing which adjusted the mirrors. what im going to do is set the mirrors and then silicon the cables so i still have little adjustability but they wont wobble around.

old cougar chrome mirrors work VERY well in stock locations as well. And are EASILY converted to electric.
