tire size for chevy z71 rims

whats the right tire size for z71 rims im lowered 6 1/2" static drop i want them to look really good.

im runnin 215/40/r16 on my bagged and bd mazda. on a static drop you might want to run maybe a 45 series

I'm gonna run 205/40/16s on mine. I'd probably go a little bit bigger, but I got an almost brand new set of these tires layin around.

ya well im guna buy em brand new just wondering what to get

depending on suspension travel and impacting bumpstops being static dropped, you might want a little bigger sidewall for absorbing sudden road impacts(potholes, etc...)

ya i was thinkin that too so 205/45/r16s would be good

A 205 tire will fit perfectly flush with the sidewall.

is that good or bad, hopefully these arent stupid questions this my first min truck.

I'm running 205/40/16s on mine with no problems!
