keep sanding till its smooth.

Use a range of sandpaper and finish with a high grit such as 220

And use a sanding block or longboard...

since you have a welder, why not, or didnt you just tack it shut? its a slow process, or you'll warp the panel.. i'll post up pics when i do mine. my buddy said the trick is, you gota tach one spot then move to another hole, tach, then another, and go slow, because if you rush and try to do it all in one spot it will warp the panel. then grind it, then just need to skim it with a hair of bondo..

+1 on the 220 grit, i just used that on my grill and tail light brackets, worked good..

I think he is fine using bondo for those small holes....but if you were shaving something like a door handle don't fill it with bondo...Use a filler plate and weld as described above...

It took me a full day to do the Full Skin/Roll Pan Combo on the mazda...its a very slow process, but way better than warping the piece...

Also make sure you get some paint or sealer on that bondo asap, otherwise it will act as a sponge and absorb water then crack and then you'll have to do it all over again!

tip- use brass or copper behind the hole and weld it up in 3-4 good penetrating tacks. do 1-2 in each hole at a time, keeping it cool. when u grind it keep it cool still... don't over do it. you can even hammer out a weld a little bit.

once its all pre sanded go over it with 400 grit water paper keep the paper wet as fuck like your washing your car and the paper wont clog up at all keep at it for 15, 20 mins and itll be smooth as fuck in no time...

sand it till its smooth with 220. put 3 good coats of primer on it. wrap 400 grit around a paint stick and block the primer smooth. then 3 more coats of primer, then block it again. then 3 more good coats, then wet sand it with 1000 grit. itll be slicker than owl shit.
