Calling all raised bed floor mazda's

I just got my 4x4 bed and i want to rais the bed floor.i want to do it right and dont wanna waste a $600 bed.so if anyone has some info and pics it would be a big help and greatly aprciated.

cut where you think it'll line up best when the floor is raised up however far your going to raise it.

i cut mine even with the top of the fenderwells and about 3 inches from the back of the ed floor

does anyone else have any insight or pics on this,i sat and starred at my bed and still couldnt figure out how im gonna do it

start buy un bolting the front wall then remove and cut out whatever size bodydrop you are doing. then cut right under the bed rail be careful not to cut to deep cuz you will dent or cut the outside of your bed. cut straight back to where it start to curve out for the taillights then cut down to the bed floor and along the base of the of the light bucket over to the drop that goes to the hinges cut on top of that curve of your tailgate will not close. do the same on the other side. stand the bed up on its front and cut the fender braces in half unbolt the plastic crap and the metal then those braces that go from the inside bed wall to the fender. now cut the brackets that go to the hinges ant all the others that connect the bed floor to the bed sides. remove the bed sides and cut off the amount of the bodydrop for what you are doing. put it back together and weld make sure when you do this step that the body drop is even bolt the front wall on and weld up the rest. its easy it will take around 5-8 hrs to do.. good luck.
