i like my toyota bumper but i didnt like the gap between the end of the bumper and the finder so i make a filler panel from the stock bumper ends. some of you may like it some will hate it but i figure i would post it up and see what you think.

stock end,

filler panel,

no filler,

filler,

i still need to do a little work but you get the idea.

dunno..just shorten your bumper mounts to make up for the gap

ive seen some with it pushed back to stock location but then the grille sticks out over the bumper .

true it does.. grant makes a filler to fill that gap.

I did that with mine and it does push the grill out a bit!

But it sure beats it looking like hammered dog s*** painted....

i dont think it looks that bad. it reminds me of putting a yota bumper on a shoebox s-10 and not cutting the fenders.

the gap didn't bother me at first but the more i stare at the truck the more i hated the gap.its not perfect by any means but i like it , and when i get it painted body color it will look better .

I think it will look good color matched. Definitely some creative ingenuity involved.
