hey ive searched around for info on gas tank locations and if its legal to put your tank in the rear end between the frame rails in ontario canada.

if someone from canada could help me or someone could point me in the right direction that would be awsome, i wanna install my tank and get my box on asap. then ill get some pics for the whores but not untill then, so help me out for a reward haha . thanks

It is not illegal to mount your gas tank under the bed in the rear in Ontario or any state for the matter . That is where mine is mounted . You won't have a problem passing safety or anything if thats your other worry . Remember a majority of cars have there tanks in the back , Jeeps, some Land Rovers

A huge question is do you still have your Rear-Bumper ? If you dont and will be mounting it in the back between the rails with no crossmember between the Rear of the Truck and the Tanks side that faces the rear it could be certified unfit by a safety shop . In Ontario really it is not a problem getting trucks to pass safety even unfit half the shops do not care

sweet thanks dude, i have no bumper so i boxed in the rear of the frame, it should be perfectly fine from what your saying for a safety. thats all i was worried about was if it would pass easily.

thanks for the help / info maz2low
