Shaving the emblem was easy. Sawzall and a bunch of bondo. The hardest part was shaving all the honeycomb crap out. I did it in an afternoon and f***ed it all up. Took me awhile to fill and fix it all. ( its my grille if thats still unclear lol)

I agree, when my truck was white, it stayed cleaner longer. I didn't have to dry it after a wash either cause the watermarks blended in w'the paint. Now it's blue.

Awesome grill! I'm wondering how long the filler is going to last before it cracks? I don't think its going to adhere well to the plastic..

How did you fasten the mesh onto the grill? I've always wanted to do it, I just don't have any idea on how to fasten the mesh!

haha "tits" .. awesome. But thanks yea. I took a spare grille off my buddy and was like hmmmm wut can i do. He to had shaved the emblem off his grille so i was doing the same but i wanted that honeycomb GONE.

And surprisingly enought that bondo is adhearing really well to the fiberglass grille.

And the mess is held on by JBkwik weld. That shit is AMAZING.

looks cool. I like the shaved emblem too.

I did a similar grille insert on my '02,which is more for protection than it is cosmetics, but it helps that it looks cool too. I made it out of Gutter Guard lol.
